Authorities in Grand Canyon, Arizona are searching for more than 20 hikers feared missing following severe flash flooding in the area.
The flooding struck around 2:30 p.m. local time on Saturday, affecting the Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch regions. According to the National Park Service, fast-moving المياه swept through parts of the canyon, causing significant damage and forcing emergency response efforts.
So far, 62 people have been airlifted to safety, with rescue operations still ongoing. No injuries have been officially reported, but several individuals remain unaccounted for as search teams continue their efforts.
