In 1965, he created the cult television program “Feu Vert” on RTB, and later contributed to reshaping football broadcasting in 1986 with “Mexigoal.” He also played a key role in the creation of Canal+ Belgium, helping revolutionize the way football and sports rights were presented on television in the country.
Beyond journalism, André Remy was also widely known for creating, writing, and performing the iconic comedy show “Sois Belge et Tais-toi,” which enjoyed more than two decades of success across Belgium’s biggest stages. Even into his 80s, he remained active on stage, maintaining a strong connection with audiences through humor and reflection.
